New Apple products are on the way next year, or so analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported. Among these in particular, there would be the new iPhone SE and the next generation Apple Watch. More specifically, it would seem that Apple’s new economic model will hit the market in the first half of 2022, featuring a 4.7-inch display and 3GB of RAM. In the second half of the year, however, it will be the turn of Apple Watch 8, Watch SE and versions for extreme sports. Finally, in the fourth quarter of 2022 the Cupertino company could launch the new AirPods Pro 2, arriving on the market with an updated chip.
iPhone SE coming to market in the first quarter of 2022
Apparently, Apple seems ready to release the new third-generation iPhone SE at the end of the first quarter of 2022. More specifically, the Cupertino company could launch on the market at least 25-30 million units. Enough to guarantee the success of a mid-range smartphone, which should have approximately the same design as the current model. The real interesting news, in fact, would be represented by the 5G support and from faster processor. Probably the A15 Bionic chip. The price could be around $ 500, which would make it the cheapest 5G smartphone in Apple’s history.
The only big problem, at this point, remains the lack of chips, which is causing many problems for the company’s production. As we have already reported several times, Apple has chosen to reduce the production of units of the iPad and the old model iPhone, in order to concentrate on that of the iPhone 13. What will happen, therefore, regarding the production of the iPhone SE is not yet known. Perhaps the company plans to solve everything, or almost everything, within a short time, so as to be able to launch its new smartphone within the first three months of 2022. But if it does so, we will find out only in the future.
