The new MacBook Air M2 features performance in line with the MacBook Pro 13, also equipped with the new M2 chip. The confirmation comes from a first benchmark appeared on Geekbench that shows us the potential of the second generation of MacBook Air with Apple’s proprietary chip.
The new MacBook Air M2 does not disappoint in the first benchmarks
Despite the absence of a fan, present on the Pro, the MacBook Air M2 records very good performance in the first benchmarksas confirmed by a Recent benchmarks on Geekbench 5. The test in question sees Apple’s new ultraportable touch quota 1899 points in Single Core and 8965 points in Multi Core. The test was performed on July 8 and concerns the version with 16 GB of RAM of the laptop.
We remember that the new Air M2 is ready to debut. The notebook is currently in pre-order but the consequences will begin in the course of the week, precisely on July 15th. The handset is available with a starting price of 1,529 euros (relative to the basic version 8/265 GB). It is certainly not a matter of low price. Compared to the MacBook Air M1, in fact, the list has grown significantly.
