Peugeot 2008 is a B-segment SUV which conquered the European market thanks to its electric version E-2008, launched in 2019. The model is renewed with a more aggressive design and a new three-claw light signature, making it even more distinctive. The range offers three trim levels and four enginesincluding a new 156 HP electric motor with an autonomy of 406 km. A hybrid engine will also arrive in 2024. The new Peugeot 2008 renews its design, equipment and electric motor
Three trim levels arrive – Active, Allure, GT – and four engines, including a new one 156 HP (115 kW) 100% electric motor with a range of up to 406 km (WLTP combined cycle), with a hybrid engine coming next year.
The new Peugeot 2008 is renewed in design and colors, with a more imposing front and a LED light signature that recalls the brand’s three claws. The range of colors includes the Selenium Grey, Okenite White, Black Pearl Black, Elisir Red and Vertigo Blue. The two-tone black roof is standard on the GT version, which also features 18 inch alloy wheels. The other versions have 16 or 17-inch wheels, with a new design.
All technology
The Peugeot i-Cockpit comes new features and technologies. The digital instrument cluster is located high above the steering wheel for better visibility. On Allure and GT, it has a 10-inch display, on Active the instrument cluster is analog.
The central touchscreen is now from 10 inches on all 2008 trim levels. It allows you to manage the radio and telephone functions (on Active) or the Peugeot i-Connect and Peugeot i-Connect Advanced infotainment systems (on Allure and GT). Below the screen are gods piano-like keys for easy access to the main functions.
The compact steering wheel has the new Peugeot logo in the centrewith controls for the multimedia system, volume and voice control.
Four engines – and a hybrid on the way
Ultramoderno, New Peugeot 2008 offers electrified engines and latest generation connectivity. E-2008 has a power of 156 CVa battery of 54 kWh and a range of 406 km. It recharges in 30 minutes From one public column or in 4 hours and 40 minutes from a Wall Box. From 2024 it will also have the motorisation Hybrid a 48V with a petrol engine PureTech gives 136 CV and an electric motor integrated into the gearbox. This technology reduces consumption by 15% and allows you to travel in electric mode for over 50% of the time in the city.
New 2008 offers several options of petrol, diesel and electrified engines to adapt to the needs of each customer. Among these are the PureTech 100, the PureTech 130 and the BlueHDi 130 EAT8all with system Stop & Start and automatic or manual gearbox.
Plus you find plus USB-C and USB-A sockets for charging (even in the rear), but there’s also an optional 15W induction charger. There are also high-definition cameras to help when parking.
