Fittings and equipment

There are three arrangements: Core, Plus e Ultra. In particular standard equipment Volvo EX30 Core gives many driving assistants, the 18″ alloy wheels. Single-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, heat pump (but only in conjunction with the larger battery) and rear parking sensors with rear view camera.

For the Volvo EX30 Plus add the 19″ alloy wheels. The dual-zone climate control system, the Harman Kardon audio system. Pilot Assist, the tailgate with electric opening and closing. Wireless charging for smartphones and front parking sensors.

Finally for the version Ultra adds the 22 kW on-board charger to the Plus equipment. There are: automatic parking, electrically adjustable front seats. Finally, the side parking sensors, the camera with 360° view and the panoramic roof.

All thrusters and battery

The car is offered in two power variants: 272 HP for the rear-wheel drive Single Motor and 428 HP. For Twin Motor Performance ‘twin engine’ four wheel drive. The latter is the fastest car ever built by the Gothenburg House as it takes just 3.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.

The batteries are of two types. On the Volvo EX30 there is the smallest – LFP (lithium iron phosphate) – from 51 kWh promises a range of 344 km.

For those who travel a long way, we recommend the NCM (lithium nickel manganese cobalt) from 69 kWh. The range is 480 kilometers on the two-wheel drive Extended Range and 460 on the all-wheel drive Performance. THE recharge times fast are the same for everyone (about 26 minutes to bring the accumulators from 10 to 80%).

The maximum power accepted changes: 134 kW for the “basic” battery, 153 for the more advanced one. The on-board charger on the Core and Plus trim levels is only 11 kW. To have the 22 kW one, you must necessarily purchase the more expensive Ultra version.

Price list

Let’s start with the basic Single Motor Core version (272 HP engine, rear-wheel drive and 51 kWh LFP battery) costs 35,900 euros while the Single Motor Extended Range Core, the most accessible variant among those with maximum autonomy, from 41,400 euros. In our opinion, the most balanced version is the Plus: 39,100 euros for the Single Motor, 43,300 euros for the Single Motor Extended Range and 47,700 euros for the Performance. The extra cost to take home the Ultra + 4,900 euros for the rear-wheel drive Extended Range, + 3,200 euros for the 4×4.
