NNissan prepares for its debut in the new Formula E season, starting this weekend in Saudi Arabia. The team of the Japanese house, Formula E Nissan e.dams, pwill hit the track for the fourth consecutive year in the championship dedicated to electric cars. The first date, in Diriyah, will be at night. Nissan will be able to count on the new entry Maximilian Gunther who will be joined by the veteran Sebastian Buemi, in his fourth year at the wheel of a Nissan.

Ahead of the start of the new Formula E season, the fourth for the team, Nissan has released a real trailer, attached below. With the race in Saudi Arabia, the new livery of the Nissan cars, created specifically for Season 8 of Formula E, also debuts.
Recall that Nissan believes FormulaE is the ideal platform to raise awareness of the performance and fun of electric cars. Furthermore, starting from the early 2030s, all Nissan cars will be electrified with the company that has already started the transition to electric for some time.

Tommaso Volpe, Director of Nissan Global Motorsports, commented: “More powerful and faster cars will make Season 8 even more exciting. Managing the battery charge will be even more challenging and in Diriyah, moreover, we will have to adapt the cars to the strong temperature variations between day and night ”.
