If there is any hypochondriac listening, we are sure that they are happy to read what we have to say about the Pixel, a smartphone with an exclusive App for personal safety. In fact, over the years, Google has added useful functions to phones in an emergency. Such as the automatic call to emergency contacts in case you do not answer the phone. Or the ability to automatically make an emergency call if you are involved in a car accident. But now Google seems intent on adding a new security feature. Let’s see what it is.
Pixel: The smartphone will record video in an emergency
Pixel smartphones will have new security features in the coming days. According to what was anticipated by XDA-Developers and Android Police, the phones will be able to record video automatically when the built-in emergency SOS is active. Apparently, the smartphone can record up to a maximum of 45 minutes, assuming you have enough memory available. In case you have an internet connection, the video will automatically be backed up to your Google account, and then archived after seven days.
And that’s not all. If you set your Pixel smartphone to send the link to the video file to all emergency contacts, the device will do so automatically. In short, through the Personal Security App you can manage these functions as you see fit. To activate the Emergency SOS, all you have to do is press the power button 5 times. By doing so, the smartphone will be available for use, but in the meantime it will also record video. Or it will perform one of the security actions you have set for you. At this point, you can begin to say goodbye to your hypochondria.
