The output of Endless Dungeon, scheduled for May 18, 2023, it’s now postponed to October. Publisher SEGA Europe Limited and developer Amplitude Studios SAS have decided to keep us waiting a little longer for the new roguelite set in the Endless universe.
The title will now arrive on October 19 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Those who pre-purchased the Last Wish Digital Edition will be able to play in early access from October 17th. Bad news instead for players on Switch, who will still have to be patient a lot since a release date for the console has not been announced by the Big N.
Endless Dungeon: why is the exit postponed?
In a press release Amplitude explained that behind the decision to postpone the release of the game is the desire to present an improved title. Romain de Waubertgeneral manager and CCO of Amplitude Studios said:
“We are happy that players are so eager to get their hands on Endless Dungeon. The feedback we received during the OpenDev sessions convinced us that we are creating something very special. We want to make sure we don’t screw things up. Players are the heart of our studio, and launching the game in October will give us time to continue working with the community and make the game flawless on day one.”
To make up for the delay, SEGA and Amplitude they promised free new content for all players.
