At least once, we’ve all wondered what Homer would be like in real life. Now the world is ready, indeed, the technology is ready: l‘artificial intelligence has elaborated some human versions of the characters de I Simpsonand the result is incredible.
The idea came from a Reddit user, who used the AI of Midjourney (the same one that generated the fake image of arrested Trump and the trapper Pope) to recreate in human form not just members of the Simpson familybut also other little characters such as Ned Flanders, Patty and Selma, the excellent Mr. Burns and Apu. And then again Lenny, Carl, Smithers, Nelson, Milhouse, Moe, Barney and the Comic Book Man.

You can watch the entire gallery below, which includes humanized versions of as many as 20 characters, including Homer who is somewhat reminiscent of Hank from Breaking Bad and Marge who seems to have something of Elodie. Ned, on the other hand, vaguely reminded us of Ted Lasso.
The images were met with mixed opinions from the community, who especially criticized Marge’s performance. One user wrote, “Very lifelike, would watch it immediately,” while another added, “Best she’s ever seen. Marge didn’t convince me, though.”
The use of generative artificial intelligence is causing a lot of discussion, especially in the artistic field. Last week Paul McCartney has revealed that thanks to AI it will release an unreleased Beatles song, plucking the voice of the late John Lennon from an old demo tape.
