The Twilight saga, based on the four young adult novels, will officially become a TV series with a project still under construction
After the announcement of the production of a TV series on the Harry Potter saga, another similar news arrives, which always concerns a film saga born as a novel adaptation. This is the case of the Twilight saga based on the novels by Stepanie Meyer, which in 2008 became a film adaptation developed into five films, which will now officially become a TV series.

An announcement that was made by the American magazine Hollywood Reporter with the confirmation of Lionsgate which is the production and distribution house of the film saga. The details are not there yet, because the project is under construction, but absolutely confirmed. The cinematographic saga, like the books, was very successful in the first decade of the 2000s, especially on the teenage audience also because it had ridden the success of a genre that characterized those years, namely that of the paranormal, vampires and werewolves.
There were five films overall, especially the first, titled Twilight, then New Moon in 2009, followed by Eclipse in 2010. Then there were the two films based on the final novel, Breaking Dawn, released as in the case of Harry Potter with Part I in 2011 and Part II in 2012. A success from the cinema that also followed the public’s demand, thus ensuring that almost one film a year was released in theaters. The absolute protagonists of this saga were, among many others, Kristen Stewart, who played Bella Swan, a young human who falls in love with the vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattison.
The Twilight saga TV series is certainly news that will make all fans of the first hour, novels and then films happy, but it is certainly a product that arrives late compared to what was the great success of the 2000s.
