The Disney + Star section catalog continues to grow. It is finally official, in fact, that from July 2 the 10 complete seasons of The Walking Dead will be available on the streaming channel. Could season 11 have the same fate?
The Walking Dead it is certainly one of the TV series that has contributed to changing the way we make and use products for the small screen. Having become a pillar of television series, he saw the story well told go on 10 seasons. Between twists, sudden deaths and plot changes not always appreciated, the series continues to have a following of loyal fans, despite the decline in pace and quality. Whether you look at it out of boredom or to discover the fate of the characters, The Walking Dead therefore remains one of the most followed series.
And it is for this reason that Disney has decided to also focus on this recall title to expand the catalog of the recent section Stars at Disney+. In the United Kingdom, in fact, as early as June 30, the series is available on the streaming platform, thanks to the closure of the Fox channel.
In Italyinstead the release will take place on 2 July. For the first time, therefore, the series will also be available in streaming. Since the release of the first season, in fact, the AMC product has been broadcast exclusively on FOX.
The Walking Dead: the fate of season 11
It is probable that, with the 10 seasons present in the catalog from today, the season 11 which, in the UK, will be broadcast exclusively on the platform from 24 August. While waiting to discover the fate of the last season in Italy, we can take a look at the official synopsis:
In previous installments of The Walking Dead, our survivors faced demons of the past and battled new threats, with friendships and relationships that suffered from the increased collateral damage caused by the apocalypse. Alexandria is severely compromised, reduced to the skeleton of the house it once was after the carnage and destruction left by the Whisperers. Now all the people living in Alexandria are struggling to make it a fortress again and feed the ever-increasing number of inhabitants, which also includes the survivors of the Kingdom’s fall and the Hilltop fire, as well as Maggie and her new group, the Guardians. Alexandria has more people than she can feed and protect. Their situation is desperate as tensions fueled by past events emerge within the destroyed walls. They must find more food as they try to restore Alexandria to the situation before her collapse like countless other communities they have come across over the years. But where and how? More emaciated and heartbroken than ever, they have to dig deeper to find the effort and strength to safeguard their children’s lives, even if it might mean losing their own. Meanwhile, without the knowledge of the people in Alexandria, Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko and Princess are still being held hostage by mysterious soldiers who are members of a larger and more rude group.
