Netflix has decided to expand The Witcher universe even further with a new animated film, i.e The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep and the teaser has already been released. It seems that the streaming platform still wants to focus heavily on Andrzej Sapkowski’s narrative universe with more and more products. We will then see another story with Geralt In Riviawhich after the abandonment of Henry Cavill, will be played by Liam Hemsworth. The new animated film was presented at Geeked Event in a first teaser.

The teaser trailer shows us Geralt Di Rivia struggling with a case to solve about the Sirens who torment a village. However, this will not be the classic monster hunt that our beloved witcher faces to earn a living, there is something much bigger. Geralt will accept the job entrusted to him by a coastal village that suffers constant attacks from sea creatures and will be involved in a war between humans and the inhabitants of the sea. To resolve the issue, the witcher will need all the help he can get, both old friends and new acquaintances. In the teaser we see Geralt fighting against creatures of the deep and the various action sequences that follow him, while an unknown voice speaks of an ongoing war.
The film is made by Studio Mir and will arrive in streaming at the end of 2024. Geralt’s voice is Doug Cocklethe character’s official voice in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A great return for the famous and beloved voice of Geralt and they will be there alongside him Joey Batey e Anya Chalotrainterpreters of Buttercup and Yennefer.
