Word from Buzz lets slip that Disney has reached out to him and Tom Hanks. Will Toy Story 5 really happen?
During a guest Tim Allen is back talking about Toy Story, revealing that he had been contacted by Disney to return to voice Buzz. He also adds that Tom Hanks also received the call for his Woody. The actor explained that one of the original creators prepared the script, but he did not reveal himself, so he did not specify who. He said Bob Iger, head of Disney, explained to him and Tom Hanks that Toy Story 5 will happen, in fact, it is in development and therefore it is likely that the project will be successful given that both have received the call to arms to return to their (now) historic roles.

However it seems that fans are very skeptical of that statement. In fact, many online have wondered what else there could be to say about a pair of now dated toys. But Disney left no room for doubt. In fact, it has been repeatedly reiterated by the company that it is working on three animated sequels on which the multinational is counting a lot after the disappointing results of the last year. Toy Story 5 was also mentioned among the sequels in question. Nothing else is known yet about the plot or a presumed release date. However, Tim Allen is very confident in the project. What reassures him is the fact that he is in charge of the matter one of the screenwriters who wrote one of the best films, so he would come back to play Buzz even if it wasn’t his jobalso adds that it would be a beautiful way to reunite.
