As evidenced and Twitter, for several hours the reports of downs on the TIM network have been intensifying throughout Italy. Compared to other similar cases that have occurred in recent months, at the moment the problems are concentrated above all on streaming and gaming, both from fixed and mobile networks. The many reports of disruptions mainly concern services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Xbox Live, Playstation Network, Origin, Alexa, Epic Games, Twitch and Zoom. Some owners of specific devices such as Amazon’s Fire TV also report the total block of these products, probably due to the inability to reach the main streaming services.
The problems relating to web browsing and the use of the main social networks are less evident, although there are still some misunderstandings in this regard. As can be seen from Downdetector, the reports of down on Tim started around 8 pm, and multiplied around 10 pm.
