Here are the best video games coming out in July 2023: lots of fun on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, PC and Nintendo Switch!
June greets us and we enter the heart of summer with the month of July. The heat is really starting to kick in, but we’re sure a new video game line-up will help us weather the heat!
After a long wait, among the new arrivals we have Pikmin 4, a new adventure in the company of adorable colored “seeds”. The game also introduces a new type of ice and a very tender and zealous big dog: both new entries will be useful in paving the way for Otis and his pseudo-vegetable troops. There is also on the way Oxenfree II: Lost Signals; the sequel to Oxenfree will take you back to Camena to investigate the mysterious apparitions caused by the radio waves. The title maintains the misty and disturbing atmospheres of the first title, and we are sure that fans of Stranger Things and paranormal episodes will love it.
Among the best outgoing video games we point out The Expanse: A Telltale Series: finally a new episodic series, this time set in deep space. Adventurer Carima Drummer and her team are looking for a rumored treasure… will they be able to find it amidst the darkness and dangers of infinity? The first episode will be available on July 27: the subsequent chapters, however, will arrive every two weeks.
For fans of strategic and history we can only highlight Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening! The sixteenth chapter of this long-running series (the first episode dates back to 1983!) will put you in the shoes of a damyō with an ambitious goal: to unify Japan under a single flag. Set in the Japanese 1500s, the title will catapult you into a period of terrible conflicts: to unify the country you will also need wisdom and the support of valiant allies.
For the series “welcome returns” July 2023 proposes Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg, updated version of the title originally released in 1997 on the PlayStation. After 26 years, the title got its remake, and the differences are certainly evident: compared to the original graphics, Atelier Marie Remake shows a very soft and colorful “chibi” style, and allows for freer exploration of the game world . The perfect game to spend a summer lightly!
