The social network, waiting to understand how the negotiation for the acquisition by Elon Musk will end, has announced new staff cuts. In particular, Twitter has opted for the dismissal of 30% of the team dedicated to the acquisition of talent. In essence, the division of the social network that dealt with identifying the right figures to hire has been greatly downsized.

The layoffs announced by Twitter affect a total of approximately 100 employees. The company confirmed that the cut in the workforce is limited to the talent acquisition team which, therefore, is heavily downsized compared to the previous composition. The social network continues to manage an optimization policy that will aim to maximize efficiency and minimize costs, with the aim of putting the accounts in order.

In the meantime, the completion of the agreement for theacquisition of the social by Elon Musk. Again, the situation is complicated and the negotiations are on standby. The elements to be clarified are still different. There is the question of fake accounts which is a determining factor in order to evaluate the real value of the social network.
