After the forays into e-commerce some time ago, now theApps on Twitter seems intent on testing a new shopping experience. Twitter: App opens the possibility of making purchases during live shows
“Live streaming on Twitter gives companies the power to interact with their most influential fans, and adding the ability to shop into this experience is a natural extension to attract and engage a receptive audience.” Thus the platform announced the new shopping function within the live broadcasts. But, apparently, this is not the only novelty introduced to incentivize users’ purchases. The Twitter App has been testing an option for a while now “Purchase management“.
Recently the platform has also expanded the availability of “Modulo Shop”, a tool that allows brands and companies to add a carousel to their profile, so as to highlight a selection of products. Beyond that, it now appears that Twitter will begin rolling out the new shopping feature among US merchants in the coming weeks. Fortunately, we can tell. After all, the platform has been quite slow in embracing the functions dedicated to shopping. But now everything seems to have changed. Indeed, the fact that Twitter is also focusing on e-commerce leaves room for incredible news.
