MSX International, a company active in the provision of business process outsourcing (BPO) services for the automotive sector, has announced that Ugo de Carolis has been appointed as the new CEO and Executive Chairman. De Carolis takes over from Patrick Katenkamp, who has decided to embark on a new business venture.
In his new role, Ugo De Carolis will have the task of guaranteeing solid growth for MSX International and ensuring its consolidation as a leading company in the automotive sector. “I am delighted and deeply honored to join MSX” commented De Carolosis. “I am sure that, together with the global team, we will be able to seize new development opportunities for what is already a leading company in the sector today. The career of Ugo De Carolis before being appointed to MSX International
De Carolis holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome and boasts twenty years of experience in various sectors, gained both in Italy and abroad.
Among the most prominent roles that the Italian manager has covered, there are four years as CEO of Aeroporti di Roma, during which he managed the Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, digital transformation and infrastructure development. Even earlier, De Carolis was CEO of Telepass, of which he led the transformation from a motorway toll management company to a player in the mobility sector and launching numerous new initiatives throughout Europe. During his working career, De Carolis has also held primary positions in other multinational companies, including Case New Holland (CNH), Leasys S.p.A, General Electric (GE) Capital Services e Procter & Gamble.
