To close the week in pole position among physical video games was none other than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, whose sales figures see it jump forward with a 24% surge. Clearly, however, there is an underlying reason: in addition to the undoubted quality of the game, the price cut of twenty pounds for the base model of Nintendo Switch has played a significant role. The podium is all from the Big N this week, with a 9% leap that throws the Switch version of Minecraft in second place, and another 17% leading to third Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Before moving on to the fourth position in the sales data, let’s see which of the video games seen last week (in the ranking two weeks ago, as we will clarify) finds itself fifth. The previous gold medal, Deathloop of Bethesda, lost 82% of sales. A nice roll, but it must also be said that with triple A titles it is more than normal to see them cash in for the most part on day one. On the other hand, the debut of Lost Judgment of SEGA, who finds himself fourth. 62% of copies were sold on PS5, 28% on PS4 and 10% on Xbox Series X and Series S.
