May ends with Miles Morales triumph over bio-mutants: here are the latest sales figures for video games from the UK
We are here, like every week, a talk about the latest sales figures for video games directly from UK. This time, the youngest Marvel wall climber takes the top spot. We talk as always about Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which conquers the summit for the second time this year. The game received a price cut of up to thirty pounds for the PS4 version at some retail chains. The result was a 104% increase for the PS4 version and, more surprisingly, 175% for the PS5 version. But there is also a debut to talk about.
Changing (bio) expectations
As for the new video games coming out, the rookie of the week, Biomutant, he has to settle for the silver medal in sales figures in spite of himself. As for the physical format, which we always rely on, 71% went to the PS4 version, 28% to the Xbox One version and 1% to the PC format. Data for the digital format can only be found later in the week. As for the rest of the ranking, Sony consoles for once boast a more massive presence, starting already from the bronze medal.
Sony Men – Sales figures for video games
Let’s start with the third place, The Last of Us: Part II, which finds itself in third place among the most loved video games by British players thanks to discounts that have changed its sales figures. The game was in fact available at some retail outlets for a paltry ten pounds. Among other Sony exclusives we have Ghost of Tsushima which sees him seventeenth (with a 604% increase) e God of War in thirty-seventh place (95% more). Another game, although not exclusive, is the “face of the next-gen” Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is in fifth place with an increase of 196%.
The fourth that rips and other stories – Sales figures for video games
Speaking of other characters accustomed to castles, Lady Dimitrescu and the cheerful brigade of Resident Evil Village they drop to fourth place in sales figures with a drop of 35%. Mythopia instead it drops by 45% in its second week on the market, finding itself from second to ninth. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition swoops from third to twelfth with a drop of 47%, e New Pokémon Snap ends sixteenth with a 5% drop. Among the rookies we also have Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster, which ranks thirteenth (55% of sales on Nintendo Switch, 45% on PS4).
Sharks of ludofinanza and conclusive printouts
Last but not least, we have the (more than decent, although not excellent) debut on the Nintendo Switch of Maneater, published by Deep Silver, which in the sales figures for video games enters the top 40 as the rear (increase of 397%). We can only leave you to ours table, of which by now you know very well the reading order (placements two weeks ago on the left, week just ended in the center).
