Uncharted teaser trailer, adventure film with Tom Holland, released on February 18, 2022
It seems that leaking trailers of the films starring Tom Holland has become a habit. In fact, after the various Spiderman No Way Home leaks last August, which then led Sony to release the official trailer (for exasperation), it seems that the images of the Uncharted teaser trailer circulate on the net, adventure film based on the popular action-adventure video game series developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Currently the series has four main chapters (Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Den of Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End) and two spin-offs (Uncharted: The Abyss of and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy).
The leaked teaser trailer
Judging by the blurry images, which appear to have been stolen from inside a cinema, the scene appears to be reminiscent of Uncharted 3, whichwake to understand that the film can re-propose some iconic moments of the original games.
In the stolen scenes we see Tom Holland, in the role of Nathan Drake, who awakens in the air, attached to the cargo of an airplane, and tries with a series of leaps to regain the cockpit. In another moment of the teaser, we see Nathan Drake involved in a fight with a Scottish man, a taste of the humor contained in the film.
The plot and the cast
Uncharted, the film directed by Zombieland and Venom director Ruben Fleischer, is an origin story taken from the video game series of the same name and chronicles the adventures of treasure hunter Nathan Drake, drawing inspiration from Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, where thief Nathan Drake first meets his mentor Victor Sullivan, and from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
The film will closely follow the relationship between young Nathan and his older brother Samuel.
As previously mentioned Nathan will be played by Tom Holland, while Mark Wahlberg will be Victor “Sully” Sullivan, Nathan’s mentor. The cast of the film also includes Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle.
The release of the film is set for February 18, 2022, but to see it in Italy it will take February 22, 2022.
