UNO Valhalla brings Eivor and the whole Viking world to the game board with a new resource-gathering mechanism.

ONE Valhalla: Choose the right card as only a Viking can

Have you ever wondered how the Vikings would play UNO? Don’t lie, we’ve all had this doubt once in a lifetime. We do not dare to imagine the reaction after a +4 too much. However, the most boundless fantasies come true today, thanks to the new DLC UNO Valhalla, which brings the Viking world of Eivor from Assassin’s Creed to the popular board of the most popular card game (real and digital) in the world. The crossover project is the result of the new collaboration between Ubisoft and Mattel, and for more goers here is the official trailer of the expansion.

As seen from the video, for the first time in the history of UNO, the board becomes an integral part of the gameplay. You will therefore need to discard the cards carefully, to be able to move around the board and collect special loads that will give you access to extra prizes. Thanks to this new addition it will be possible to fight with other opponents, with the sound of cards to slow them down or, perhaps, unlocking the navelunga effect. The latter forces you to discard as many cards in one fell swoop. In addition, thanks to exploration, players will be able to participate in random events that trigger the gameplay. An example is Glory Regained, where the player will be able to take a load equal to that of the player with the largest load. Finally, the DLC introduces a brand new Raven card for Eivor, which allows the player to move to an area of their choice and claim their respective rewards.
