Let’s find out together, in this dedicated review, what are the strengths and weaknesses of the new Urbanista Atlanta, the latest model of in-ear headphones created by the Swedish company of the same name
Urbanista is a Swedish company, based in Stockholm, which deals with audio lifestyle products, and which therefore not only work well, but are also more than pleasant in appearance. Whether we’re talking about speakers, wireless headphones or something else, Urbanista has always produced particularly captivating and, forget the English, stylish objects. In this short review we will talk about the new Urbanista Atlanta, hybrid headphones with active noise cancellation and completely wireless. Will they pass our test? Let’s find out together.

Style and colors | Atlanta Urbanist Review
The Urbanistas arrived at our house with an attractive packaging, even only for the external packaging, and which contained, in addition to the instruction manual and the guarantee, the earphones already inserted in the charging case. The latter can be used both using any type-C cable connected to a current source, and with all the wireless chargers now on the market. And rest assured that with any quick-charge charger, your Urbanista Atlanta will be ready to go in about half an hour.
Available in four color variants (blue, red, white and black), we have decided to throw ourselves on the classic Midnight Black: just because black never clashes with anything. We absolutely have to admit that the simple, elegant, but at the same time modern design of the Urbanista Atlanta immediately captivated us. To the ear test, the earphones are quite comfortable to wear, but maybe they need smaller rubbers. The writer has a rather large ear, yet the earphones tended to fly away in situations of movement.
Active Noise Cancellation | Atlanta Urbanist Review
Yes, because we mainly used our Urbanista Atlanta in training sessions at the gym, and this is where one of the fundamental features of this product comes into play: hybrid active noise cancellation. An advanced technology that Urbanista prides itself on isolating and blocking out background sound, noise cancellation can be turned on and off via the handy Urbanista Audio app, downloadable for free on all iOS and Android devices.
We assure you that the noise cancellation works excellently, for a “simple” in-ear headset. If, on the other hand, you need to be aware of everything around you and want to allow external sounds to enter, just activate the transparency mode from the same app. With the application you can also manage the touch controls of the headphones, choosing from the most classic: answers to incoming calls, activation of voice assistants and others.
Drums and Sound Quality | Atlanta Urbanist Review
As for the internal battery life of the earphones, we can be fully satisfied. We admit that we have not tested the nine hours of playback on a single charge so praised by Urbanista, but we easily reached three consecutive hours consuming just under half of the total battery given by the application: a more than worthwhile duration. Also noteworthy is that of the wireless charging case, which in two weeks of use we only recharged twice because it was completely discharged.
The sound quality is excellent, thanks also and above all to the six internal microphones and the aforementioned hybrid active noise cancellation. Especially the basses are excellent, rather decisive, but which do not dominate the rest of the sounds. The earphones are also water resistant, so if you are a water sports person you can use them in your daily training sessions.
As previously mentioned, Urbanista Atlanta is compatible with all iOS and Android devices. They are available in the catalog at a price of €119, and yes we know it’s not exactly a budget price. but you can often find them at lower prices also through Amazon. And we admit that, given the overall quality of the product, the price is quite right. Find earphones from first parts of terribly inferior quality at much higher prices, so to speak.
A great alternative
To conclude our quick review of the Urbanista Atlanta, we must admit that we were extremely satisfied with the daily test of these earphones. Aside from the slightly too space-consuming size of the in-ear pads, the excellent sound quality and the practically perfect hybrid active noise cancellation left us pleasantly surprised. Now you have the test!
