Iron Gate Studio recently stated that there are currently no plans to bring Valheim to PlayStation consoles as well
Valheim is un survival fantasy in third person in development by Iron Gate Studio. The title is available in early access since February 2021 and over time it has gained increasing popularity. Indeed, thanks to the excellent quality of the game and the constancy with which the developers introduce new content, Valheim has become one of the most popular survival of recent years.
At the moment if you want to try this game you can only your PC, but in the future also the owners of Xbox One e Xbox Series X | S they will get to play it. Unfortunately, however, it seems that those who only own Sony platforms may have to wait a very long time before getting their hands on the survival of Iron Gate Studio. In fact, the company recently stated that there are currently no plans to bring Valheim to PlayStation consoles.
For now Valheim will not come to PlayStation 4 and 5
Jonathan Smårs, ill senior developer di Iron Gate Stuidorecently appeared during one of the last episodes dell’Xbox Expansion Pass Podcast. The developer obviously talked about the future arrival of his survival on Microsoft platforms and unfortunately he also stated that there is currently no release planned for PlayStation consoles.
If you are interested in trying the game and you only own a PS4 or a PS5, surely this news will not have made you happy at all, but perhaps all is not lost. Indeed, Jonathan placed a lot of emphasis on “at the moment“, implying that in the future the game could also arrive on PlayStation. Obviously for now there is nothing concrete but, when Valheim has landed on Microsoft consoles, perhaps the developers could start considering other versions as well.
