Eddie Brock has so far made a small contribution to the latest chapter of Spider-Man with Tom Holland. His stop at a bar left a rather precious souvenir that could unleash further chaos in the universe Peter Parker. Via Instagram, Tom Hardy shared a shot from the set where he is clearly wearing the same clothes that Eddie Brock wore during the post-credit scene of Venom: Carnage’s Fury and Spider-Man: No Way Home, underlining the direct connection between the two universes. The image actually suggests a precious clue, namely the chronology of events. In fact, it would appear that Venom 3 is placed chronologically directly after what happened in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In any case, this does not mean that Eddie Brock will meet Spider-Man, despite fans’ expectations. In a draft, as told to Empire MagazineEddie Brock would make a contribution during the fight in New York on the Statue of Liberty. Venom would have appeared alongside the other villains but, as demonstrated by the film in question, that moment was never added to the final draft. Eddie Brock arrived in the MCU but never left a bar, but who knows, maybe that will change.
