Video games coming in January 2022
Monster Hunter Rise (PC) – 12 dicembre
We start the month with a much-anticipated release from Monster Hunter fans, namely the arrival of Monster Hunter Rise su PC. The new chapter of the hunting game by Capcom it was already released on Nintendo Switch last March and now it is finally about to land on Steam for all users not interested in the portability factor.
The game will guarantee 60 FPS and a resolution in 4k.
Anacrusis – January 13th
We move just one day to get acquainted with Anacrusis, a new first-person shooter with a focus on the co-op component and set on a spaceship, which will arrive exclusively on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. The game conveys clearly inspired design ideas Among Us and promises a truly enviable variety of situations.
God of War (PC) – 14 gennaio
January 14 will be the turn of another great release PC, or God of War, the soft reboot of the Kratos saga previously only available exclusively PlayStation. The game on PC should arrive with improved effects and graphics much higher than its console counterpart, although at the moment there are some concerns regarding the framerate.
Atroneer – January 15th
On January 15th it will be the turn of Astroneer, one space simulator where the player finds himself having to survive in splendid procedurally generated planets. The aim of the game will be to collect raw materials to build and develop your own base of operations, which in turn will allow us to improve our equipment.
In addition to supporting the Italian language, the game also offers a mode cooperative, through which it is possible to face the adventure together with a friend.
Windjammers 2 – 20 January
Coming 25 years after the first chapter, Windjammers 2 is the sequel to the cult classic NEOGEO Windjammers and combines everything players loved in the original title with brand new gameplay mechanics.
New challengers, new levels, game mechanics and new moves will make fans of the saga turn heads. Master slapshot and dropshot, jump, crash and mighty EX MOVE, and enjoy a rousing soundtrack straight out of the 90s.
Rainbow Six Extraction – 20 gennaio
Rainbow Six Extraction is the new first person shooter forged in the forges of Ubisoft, which this time comes with a particular focus on the cooperative component. The title is expected to be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, PS5 e Xbox Series X/S and will have a wide range of operators from the siege universe, but with different skills and gadgets.
Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection – 28 gennaio
In January, the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection will also be released, a collection that includes the last chapters of the famous Nathan Drake saga remastered by Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy. The bundle includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End e Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
Pokémon Legends Arceus – January 28
We close the list of video games released in January 2022 with Pokémon Legends Arceus, the ambitious new Pokémon spin-off set in the region’s past Sinnoh. This title, much awaited by fans, aims to renew the classic formula of Pokémon games with a semi open world setting.
As the name suggests, the title will focus on the legend of Arceus, the creator of all other Pokémon, although little is known about it at the moment.
