Let’s discover the first photos of the third and final season of Vikings: Valhalla. In fact, the Netflix series will not be reconfirmed
The announcement came via an official statement from the same Jeb Stuart, co-creator and writer of Vikings: Valhalla. The latter will end with a third season. The series, a spin-off of Vikings and set over a century after the original series, followed the adventures of the explorer Leif Erikssonof his sister Freud Eriksdotter and the Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson. Now the adventure of the three seems to have reached its epilogue. While waiting to see the brand new episodes, Netflix has published the first images. Let’s take a look.
The new season | Vikings: Valhalla, the series will end with the third season
We know that the new episodes will be set seven years after the conclusion of the events of the second season. We will meet again Freudin command of the city of Jomsborg, while Leif e Harald they find themselves in Constantinople. The new chapter will be enriched by the presence of Goran Visnjic, new cast member, who we can already see in the first photos released to the public. The actor will play Erik the Redthe father of Leif Eriksson and Freydis, exiled to Greenland for crimes committed in Iceland and Norway.

Jeb Stuart stopped to remember how important it was for him to tell and explore these three characters in the best possible way:
I’m grateful to have had three seasons to tell the stories of Leif, Harald and Freydis. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to show the evolution of three of the most famous Vikings, which became the icons we know today. And we did just that.
He then focused on the upcoming new season, anticipating some new features, without revealing any details. Clearly he couldn’t help but talk about the fact that the last upcoming episodes will be the last:
I hope that when audiences see the new season, they will be excited about all the new things we’ve brought to these heroes. When we began this project 5 years ago, I worked hard with this incredible cast and crew to create a journey we all hoped would be satisfying. Of course, dealing with real historical figures, the story of the series could have continued with new episodes to tell new facts about their lives, but from the point of view of our story it makes sense to stop here for our Leifs, Freydis and Harald. We can’t wait for fans to see the conclusion of this chapter
