Vivo also has its own foldable smartphone thanks to the debut of the new Vivo X Fold. The smartphone in question will be, at least initially, an exclusive for China but in the future it could also arrive in other markets. Here are all the features of the new Vivo home folding display device.
The new Vivo X Fold debuts
The new Vivo X Fold features a 6.53-inch external display and one 8.03-inch internal (foldable) display. For both displays AMOLED E5 technology with a 120 Hz refresh rate was used. Note that the main display has a dynamic refresh. Both displays have a fingerprint sensor under the panel.
The other specifications
To manage the operation of the new smartphone from Vivo there is the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the benchmark of Qualcomm’s SoC range. The chipset is supported by 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. There is a 4,600 mAh battery with 66 W fast charging support. The photographic compartment integrates four rear cameras, with 50 Megapixel main sensor, plus two front ones (one for the internal display and one for the external display, both from 16 Megapixel).
Vivo’s new foldable smartphone will arrive on the Chinese market with a price equivalent to approximately 1.300 euro. For now, there is no information regarding an international marketing.
