X90 Pro was born out of a partnership between vivo and ZEISS

The smartphone presents a new triple main camera setup which increases light sensitivity, natural color processing and image stabilization. All this thanks to custom imaging sensor IMX989 1 inch.

Furthermore, the 50-megapixel main camera offers a large f/1.75 aperture and 3.2 μm large pixels in a 4-in-1 configuration, while the photosensitive area of the sensor was increased by 77% compared to the vivo X80 Pro, with a increase from the absorption capacity of light until 43%.

To complete the photographic sector there is theultra 108-degree ultra-low distortion wide-angle lens, with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Another gem is the custom optical image stabilization (OIS) developed by vivo, which allows a more intelligent and precise correction compared to the standard OIS.

Camera features

The new vivo X90 Pro also features a custom imaging chip alive V2, equipped with AI algorithms developed by the company. The ZEISS optics with T* Coating they further improve night photography and astrophotography capabilities, making the new X90 Pro a tool to focus on for taking quality photos even in the evening.

Advances made in hardware and software allow the new X90 Pro to record 4K video especially in low light conditions, while those who want to photograph the starry sky can do so easily thanks to extremely sharp shots thanks to the AI Night View mode and to the mode Handheld Astro.

Last but not least, the function ZEISS Natural Color 2.0 makes the shots very similar to what the naked eye sees.

Other features of vivo X90 Pro

The smartphone supports the function Dual-Cell FlashCharge da 120W which, with a 4870 mAh battery, improves the charging speed. Moreover, in fast charging, the smartphone can be charged to 50% in as much as 8 minutes and 10 seconds.

As for the processor, the main chip is the MediaTek Dimension 9200 mobile platform, paired with vivo V2. There LPDDR5X memory is 12GB and the 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. With Extended RAM you can add another 8 GB of virtual memory.

The front of the device is occupied by one 6.78 inch screenformed by a new luminescent material that reduces annoying blue light while the system of next generation vapor chamber cooling it is able to keep the temperature of the various components under control.

The design is bold and inspired by the Fibonacci spiral for a harmonious and one-of-a-kind look. On the back cover at vegan leather a horizontal band called Skyline was placed.

The band is useful for clearly dividing the functional areas, while the camera module turns out to be the real protagonist, enriched by the company’s Gorilla Glass Corning and the overall hardness of the glass lens.

Additionally, the X90 Pro is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, while the display is protected by the latest protective glass SCHOTT Xensation® Upwhich helps prevent cracking and maintain an elegant curvature

At last X90 Pro is equipped with a dual stereo speaker, X-Axis linear motor and a rich tactile feeling.
