Vodafone down, almost. For a couple of hours there have been reports from all over Italy, with users complaining of inefficiencies for both the mobile and fixed networks. However, this does not seem to be a general problem. In many cases the network is there, it is accessible but several websites are not loading.

Currently there is not much information available. Vodafone customers reported on both Twitter and downdetector.it the inability to open a flood of web pages. It would therefore seem to be a routing problem, by someone solved with the use of a VPN.
Judging from the map of downdetector.it, the problem seems to concern the whole peninsula. The greatest concentration seems to be in the main Italian cities but it could simply be a greater reactivity in the reporting of those who live in these places.
There are currently no official statements from Vodafone but we will continue to monitor the situation which, at the moment, seems to paralyze the activities of many Italians.
