Square Enix announced that Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, the unique card-based RPG, will be available in October 28, 2021 in digital format on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. Here are all the details.

Developed by the creators of the beloved NieR and Drakengard series, this new RPG will unleash the imagination of players and lead them to discover a new way to tell a story.
Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, is a story set long ago in a world shrouded in mystery. Accompanying the players in this adventure is a mysterious one narrator, voiced in English by Todd Haberkorn. The game is set in a world of swords and magic and it is fully narrated through the use of cards.
With the hope of obtaining a generous reward, the protagonist sets out on a journey. He must defeat a Drago who has recently awakened and is threatening the world and its people. On his journey he will be accompanied by Lazuli, a monster who is very fond of him, and Orvina, a dark witch who has a lot of grudge against the Dragon.
Throughout history will have to make choices e participate in turn-based battles in dungeons taking place on a board. For fans of the NieR series there is a special surprise. - Clothes of the Lost: swap the costumes of the protagonist, Lazuli and Orvina with the design of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…
- Emil’s motive: swap the back of the cards for a motif inspired by Emil’s clothes.
- Emil’s Pawn: swap the token design for one inspired by Emil.
- So in Emil: swap the dice design for a motif inspired by Emil’s head.
- Arena Grimoire White: swap the arena and accessories for a Grimoire Weiss-inspired motif.
- Library table: swap the table for a motif inspired by a statue from a certain library.
- Song of Devola: swap the general background music with music reminiscent of the travels of a young man who fought to save his sister.
- Pixel collection: swap all monster and character illustrations for pixel versions.
We remind you that the items sold in this set may be purchased individually after the game is released.
Finally, those who pre-order the game will receive the “Card Back with Dragon Crest” downloadable content, which swaps the back design of the cards used in the game with the artist’s illustrations.
