On May 25, Riot officially launched Wanderers of the worldsthe new expansion of Legends of Runeterra which introduces numerous innovations. These include new champions, new keywords and 65 new collectible cards. Furthermore, the release of the expansion coincides with the release of The Path of Champions 2.0. A dedicated cinematic trailer shows us some of the new features introduced by the expansion.
What you need to know about the new Legends of Runeterra expansion
World Wanderers introduces four new champions, namely:
- Jhin: Allows players to add any skill card to their deck
- Annie: with her destructive power in LoR and is ready to disintegrate enemies with the help of Tibbers
- Bard: thanks to his musical allies he can place piles of Bells in your deck to provide great gifts to the cards in your hand
- Illaoi: Summons and empowers devastating tentacles to crumble the enemy Nexus
In addition, the 2.0 update of the Path of Champions introduces new regions (Moxus and Demacia see Piltover, Zaun, Ionia and Bilgwater) and new progression systems. In fact, the update includes legend levels, champion levels and revisited champion star levels, allowing you to further enhance your champions.
