WhatsApp introduces a new and useful function for the desktop and web version: the possibility of pause the vowels you recorded. This allows you to calmly decide whether to send the audio message or record another one.
WhatsApp, on web and desktop you can pause the voices you have recorded
Who wanted to test the new functions of WhatsApp Desktop with the beta program, has already been able to test the possibility of replaying their newly recorded voice messages. A handy function, which allows you to check if you have entered all the information in the audio you are about to send.
Today the company introduces an enhancement to this feature, which allows you to pause and resume recordings, so you can manage playback at your own pace. You can see it from the screenshot made by WABetaInfo.
As you can see, there is a contextual button to pause while in the previous version there was only a stop sign to stop playback. In this way you can listen to the recording, pause it, resume it and then decide whether to delete it or whether to send it to the recipient or to the group.
This feature is already available on the version of WhatsApp for iOS, while we are still waiting for it for the Android world: at the moment it is still in beta. We don’t knowor when it can officially arrive also for desktop and web, but the fact that it is already in beta suggests that it may have an imminent debut.
This is just the latest of the updates for the PC and Mac version of WhatsApp. The company recently introduced the ability to connect multiple computer accounts, demonstrating the intention of also wanting to focus on this type of interaction. We expect more news in the coming weeks: we will keep you informed.
