These days the WhatsApp App has begun to test one new interface for voice calls on the iOS beta. Apparently, this also includes wave representation for group calls. An option that had already been identified in December for Android beta testers, and which now seems to be available also on Apple devices. On the other hand, this news comes a few days after the WhatsApp update for iOS allowed users to play voice messages in the background. But let’s find out more about the new group call interface.

As reported by WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp App is releasing a new interface for both single and group voice calls. Users will then be able to see the voice waves move in real time on the display, so as to identify the active speakers during the conversation. And this would appear to be just one of the upcoming changes to the user experience on the Messaging App. The new interface, in fact, would seem to be enriched with a background for voice callswhich can be changed at will.

In short, the new beta 22.5.0.70 of the WhatsApp App greatly improves the experience of users who like to use the platform for voice calls. On the other hand, as we have anticipated, the App is doing everything to improve its service. Recently, an iOS update allowed users to play voice messages and audio files outside the chat window. And now comes the optimization of the voice call interface. When it will actually be available, however, we do not know. But we are content to know that sooner or later it will come. After all, it could be useful to know who is speaking during a group call, don’t you think too?
