However there is another option: the return of Sebastian Vettel, who would return to Formula 1 thanks to Mercedes. The four times world championafter retiring at the end of 2022 after two disappointing years with Aston Martin, has expressed his desire to return to Formula 1. There have already been contacts withAudi, which will officially make its debut in 2026, after becoming a shareholder of Sauber. However, the German driver could also ask for a place in Mercedes, considering that the place Hamilton occupied will be free from next year.
