The new Satellite Pro E10-S will be equipped with the Windows 11 SE operating system. This is a move that strengthens the partnership between Microsoft and Dynabook.
Microsoft chooses Satellite PRO E10-S to launch Windows 11 SE
Dynabook Europe GmbH announces that the Satellite Pro E10-S has been selected to present the launch of Windows 11 SE. The latter is the new operating system designed for the education sector. Microsoft’s choice once again demonstrates the strong link between the two brands in the field of education.
The 11.6 ”Satellite Pro E10-S is a tough, secure and competitively priced notebook. Announced in March, it was designed specifically for schools and to enhance the learning experience by reducing the burden on IT administrators. The notebook has all the essential features to withstand the bumps and scratches of school life. Rubber bumpers protect the device from bumps when traveling in backpacks and add extra grip on the desk.
The frame of the device is reinforced, and is able to withstand pressure and potential drops from a standard desk height. The newly designed charging port, hinges and keycaps are also resistant to spills. The E10-S opens up to 180 degrees for easy screen sharing, preventing damage to the hinges from over-extending. Finally, thanks to its fan-less design, it will be a silent companion in any classroom.

An operating system entirely designed for students
The new Windows 11 SE operating system is the first cloud edition tailored for education, with a focus on primary and secondary school students. It comes as a simplified version of Windows 11 and delivers an easy and intuitive user experience, without distractions, through Simple Start and app layout, web-first user experience and optimized app windows. Windows 11 SE uses cloud identities only, where user files are saved (via OneDrive), also available offline upon request.
Student safety and security features are built in to enable learning anywhere. Windows 11 SE provides a comprehensive content control system and SmartScreen to enhance the management and security features of the E10-S. The notebook is configurable with Microsoft’s Intune for Education, including Windows Autopilot, to make it easier for school IT administrators to preconfigure, manage, and even retire student and teacher notebooks with little or no infrastructure.
