This story is based on the song they used for the 1940 classic, i.e Pinocchio. The film takes inspiration from the lyrics of the song When You Wish Upon The Star. This story features a young girl named Ashawho with all his willpower manages to fulfill a wish thanks to the intervention of a cosmic entity named Star. Asha and Star, together, will have to work together to counter the evil forces of the powerful Magnificent King, who has subjugated an entire kingdom at his feet which is forced to be at his service. The young protagonist, together with the cosmic entity, will be able to demonstrate to the world that the will of a single person, if strong enough, can change the fate of an entire population.
In the cast we find Arian DeBose in the role of Asha, dubbed in Italian by Gaia Gozzi. Re Magnifico instead is played by Chris Pinewhile in Italian from Michele Riondino.
