The X TV app promises an immersive and personalized viewing experience
CEO Linda Yaccarino announced the upcoming launch of the X TV app, which promises to deliver “real-time engaging content” to users directly to their televisions. As PuntoInformatico explains, the app interface resembles that of YouTube, as shown in a teaser video shared by Yaccarino.
Yaccarino emphasizes that the application will be equipped with a advanced video search and will be available on most smart TVs. It will also have a algorithm for trending videos which will help users stay updated with popular tailored content. Furthermore, it will use topics powered by artificial intelligence they will organize the videos by theme. Interesting support cross-device viewing (as happens for YouTube).
The launch of the television application is part of Yaccarino's efforts to turn X into a video-oriented platform. Currently, the social network offers original shows, although last month Musk canceled a talk show deal with former CNN host Don Lemonimmediately after an “uncomfortable” interview with Musk.
Yaccarino said that the X will arrive “soon”, although he did not give specific information. Musk confirmed the news, without adding any other significant details.
