Microsoft has lifted a veil of mystery and anticipation by announcing the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase 2024. Gaming enthusiasts are invited to save the date June 9th, at 7:00 pm Italian timeas a moment not to be missed.
But there's more: immediately after the main event, Microsoft has a surprise in store, un secondary event shrouded in secrecy. Although details are scarce, a clue has been provided: an image showing the symbol of a wolf.
What we expect Xbox Games Showcase 2024
Speculation is abuzz, with many suspecting that the protagonist of this enigma is the new chapter of the Call of Duty seriesin particular, Black Ops. This theory is not new; rumors and whispers had already suggested Activision's presence at the next Xbox event. Moreover, now that Activision is officially under the wing of Xbox Game Studios, it seems even more likely that Microsoft could reveal the next Call of Duty during the showcase, following last year's example with Starfield.
This is obviously mere speculation, given that it even appears on Microsoft's official blog a black band covering the name of this second mysterious event.
As for the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 itself, information is still limited, but one thing is for sure: it will be a stage for flagship titles from Activision Bethesda e Xbox Game Studios, as well as for the creations of third-party publishers.
