Microsoft has recently released some interesting statements about the confrontation with Sony and the next generation of Xbox consoles
While Microsoft is facing a trial with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) for the proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard, other documents have emerged with decidedly interesting statements on the gaming division of the Redmond giant. On the basis of the latter, it emerges that the latter is still undecided about the release of The Outer Worlds 2 su PlayStation; Microsoft also believes that the “expected start period” of the next generation of Xbox consoles both 2028. However, these statements cannot be considered as a confirmation of the fact that the next-gen will arrive within the aforementioned year. As for the commitment to release the titles of Call of Duty on PlayStation platforms for the next ten years, Microsoft said: “This deadline would in any case go beyond the period foreseen for the launch of the next generation of consoles (in 2028). Therefore, Call of Duty will be released on subsequent PlayStation consoles if one is released during the term of the agreement.

Microsoft also added that the agreement mentioned above would guarantee that the console games of the series Call of Duty will be offered on PlayStation equal to prezzo with Xbox.
