Microsoft has not just one fantasy title in development for Xbox, but two: no, we’re not talking about Fable, but two still unknown IPs

What you read in our subtitle is not mere journalistic rhetoric, but a promising reality: even outside of Fable, in fact, Microsoft has several rabbits to extract from its green cylinder. We believed that the crackling E3 born from the lucky partnership with Bethesda was already the pinnacle of the announcements, but if this rumor should it prove to be well founded, we would be more than ever happy to be wrong.
Unexpected fantasy: the two mysterious games in development for Xbox
Of course, the existence of two fantasy titles in Microsoft’s emerald cauldron for Xbox wouldn’t be a press-worthy rumor if it didn’t bear the signature of a insider well informed about every development. We speak, unsurprisingly, of Jeff Grubb, which in its latest podcast has lifted some veils. The first title consists of an experience along the lines of Destiny, in progress at IO Interactive. The creators of Hitman have something ambitious in mind, specifically a sort of live service to bring content to for ten years: “Project Dragon”.
The second game, on the other hand, is less lavish in details but just as much for the watering it has been able to put into the genre in question. Even in the second, dragons are a central thread, but this time it would be, according to Jeff Grubb, a MMO. The idea that this is Dragon’s Dogma 2 is spreading online, but despite the multiple consents it is not a theory supported by credible sources. It will only be time to show when the next appointment with the mature fantasy will be, but if nothing else Grubb has previously aired the hypothesis that Dragon Age 4 is close to the announcement.
