Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. brings many new features and is pleased to announce that a new digital title of Yu-Gi-Oh!, which will excite nostalgic Duelists everywhere, is currently in development. As if that wasn’t enough, KONAMI showed off the first Duels with VR and AI technology.
Novelty Yu-Gi-Oh!: relive the first Duels with Early Days Collection
First shown during the special event “Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: The Legend of Duelist QUARTER CENTURY” in Tokyo, Japan, Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is the new digital title in development, which will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game.
Novelty Yu-Gi-Oh!: titles never published in the West
Coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam, Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection collects the first Yu-Gi-Oh! products. The collection will include titles never published in the West. One title has already been confirmed: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists, released in 2000 for the Game Boy Color, a game that had previously only been released in Japan. Further details will be announced in the future, so stay tuned.
Ready to duel in VR in a new Yu-Gi-Oh! experience
During the event “Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel: Monsters The Legend of Duelist Quarter Century”, Duelists were able to immerse themselves in a brand new Yu-Gi-Oh! which combines the world of mobile and PC gaming Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS with VR technology.
“Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links presents SOLID VISION EXPERIMENT” brings cards to life in an immersive VR space. Players will be able to participate in a realistic Duel within the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS, featuring iconic monsters like blue eyes White Dragon, which will come to life in an innovative 3D world. KONAMI will continue to develop Yu-Gi-Oh! with the help of VR technology and more.
Maximum Summoning
Furthermore, KONAMI announces that Maximum Summoning will soon debut Rush Duel in Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS. This brand new feature will allow you to combine three Maximum Monsters into a single devastating monster with high attack power and capable of using the effects of each of the Maximum Monsters that compose it. Maximum Summoning is coming to Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS on February 28th.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Master
Finally, to celebrate 2 years of Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, new in-game commemorative items and login bonuses are arriving. Starting February 7, players will be able to obtain:
