Trent Film has unveiled the new trailer for the animated film “Yuku and the Himalayan Flower” by Aranud Demuynck and Rémi Durin, which will arrive in Italian cinemas from 26 October. Presented at the Locarno Film Festival and the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the film is a fun and colorful musical adventure. The little mouse Yuku lives within the walls of a castle with her mother, grandmother and many little brothers. Her passion for stories and music will help her in the adventurous search for the Himalayan flower, on a journey full of encounters with animals she has never seen, including a grim crow, a forgetful squirrel and a poet fox.

A playful musical, in which each song strengthens the characters in their identity. The authors consciously chose a rich vocabulary, as they had already done for “Le Parfum de la Carotte”, to tickle the linguistic curiosity of younger spectators and to also delight the imagination of adults. “Yuku is the flower of the Himalayas” It’s great European animation that has nothing to envy of American animation, a film for the whole familya hymn to friendship and nature as joys of life!
From fun ska to moving blues (sung in the original by the rocker Arno), from a crazy rap to a wild swing worthy of King Louis – the authors’ reference is to “The Jungle Book”, from the philosophical ballad of a fox (sung in original with Agnès Jaoui) to wild boogie-woogie, the film invites viewers young and old to sing and dance on their seats. In the Italian version Yuku’s voice comes from singer Fedea.
