The grille in the engine compartment is decorated with a badge with the words “Porsche Design 50th Anniversary Edition”.

The interior is also predominantly done in black, decorated with commemorative plaques, embossing and the signature of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. On the front is the Porsche Design Subsecond analog clock (part of the Sport Chrono Package). The red seconds hand was made in this color, again to remind the 1972 Chronograph I.
