In the past few hours, the minimum and recommended requirements for the PC version of Halo Infinite, the next chapter in the 343 Industries series, have been revealed through the official page of the Steam game
We got a little scared, we have to admit, when during Microsoft’s latest Xbox Games Showcase, 343 Industries didn’t reveal the release date of Halo Infinite. Considering the fact that the company had postponed the game some time ago, but confirmed the release window of 2021, the event and the subsequent Gamescom 2021 were the last two great occasions to define a precise date. Fortunately, during the very last Gamescom, the new chapter of the award-winning series has finally shown itself, complete with a release date set for next 8 December (just in extremis), and the pitchforks we have all put them back in our pockets.
Following the announcement, the official Halo Infinite Steam page has also been updated. In addition to reporting the release date, the minimum and recommended requirements for the PC version have also been included. Requirements that, we must admit, they quite amazed us in terms of performance because… they are really high. We all still remember with candor the first gameplay trailer shown, the subject of hilarity and contemporary anger on the part of many fans, characterized by a technical sector that is certainly not avant-garde. We also add that the multiplayer component of Halo Infinite will have a great relevance, so it seemed quite obvious that, at least for the minimum requirements, 343 Industries would have aimed at a wider range of PCs.
