EA announced a few months ago that it had founded a new development studio based on Seattle, and that this studio is working on a game action adventure open world not yet announced under the leadership of Kevin Stephens (known for overseeing the development of Middle-earth: The Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: The Shadow of War at Monolith Productions). While we still have no information on the open world in development, according to some information leaked on the net, maybe we found the Name of this new studio founded by EA.

As noted by VGC, EA has registered trademarks both at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, both at the European Union Intellectual Property Office. In both cases, “production of video and computer game software” (ie video game production essentially), and the brand in question is “Neon Black Studios”. Unless EA has founded additional new studios that they haven’t talked about yet, this is very likely the name of their recently founded open world studio.
Obviously, in the absence of official confirmation from EA, we can’t go any further the hypothesis, so the only thing left to do is hope to hear more from EA about it.
