“Road to 2121: the next 100 years of Moto Guzzi“. Thus presented in Mandello del Lario the conservative renovation project of the motorcycle production site of the famous Abruzzo brand. Designed by the American architect and designer Greg Lynn, the intervention will take place in an environment with open spaces that are well usable by the public. More specifically, it will be “a community aggregation center, based on culture, design and mechanics, with a marked green attitude, typical of the contemporary world”. Moto Guzzi: the renovation project of the production site presented
The new Moto Guzzi project is all focused on the restructuring of the motorcycle production site. And to distinguish it is the particular attention to environmental sustainability and the proper management of resources. Precisely for this reason, the new buildings will be built “with photovoltaic systems and eco-sustainable materials”. In this sense, the structure will become an important point of reference not only for fans of the brand, but also “for the world of young people and international tourism that wants to get closer to the fantastic uniqueness of its bikes”.
The renovation project, in fact, provides for the addition of new conference spaces, intended for internal and external events, of a albergo and of a restaurant, so as to complete the hospitality offer for visitors expected from all over the world. From what we know, the works will be started by 2021, with the aim of completing them by the first half of 2025. On the occasion of the presentation of the project, the brand also presented the new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello. A small preview of a model that will then be presented at EICMA International Two-wheeler Show in Milan next November 23rd.
