Ford has since made orders available online from Mustang Mach-E GT, a sporty version of its fully electric SUV Coupé. This, as you can guess, is the most powerful version of the catalog, which Ford has chosen to offer in Europe and consequently also in Italy. The newcomer is based on two electric motors, one on each axle, which guarantee all-wheel drive and a total power of 487 CV. The Mustang Mach-E GT is thus able to pass by 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds. The maximum torque reaches an impressive 860 Nm. To power it, Ford opted for a large battery, with a capacity of 88 kWh, able to offer a range of 500 km according to the WLTP cycle.
If the power offered by this electric car is nothing short of surprising, in the same way the atmosphere inside is not far behind. The instrument panel is accompanied by a large and monumental one 15-inch central multimedia screen, which allows you to access all the functions of the car. The one system is compatible with Android Auto ed Apple CarPlay. The Bang & Olufsen B&O audio system featured consists of nine speakers and a subwoofer. The double dashboard stud refers to the one that characterizes the original Mustangs.
Driver and guests can enjoy Ford Performance sports seats made of Black Onyx ActiveX material with Miko insert. The volume of the cubic trunk is equal to 407 liters, to which is added an additional 100-liter compartment under the front hood. Ford’s sports car offers standard 20-inch wheels fitted with Continental 245/45 R20 tires, red Brembo-branded brake calipers and electronically controlled MagneRide suspension. This adapt to the various driving modes chosen by the pilot, between Whisper Active e Untamed, to which is added the Untamed Plus, which becomes the “more fun” mode and which allows you to squeeze the full potential of the electric engine. Ford has chosen to offer two different and exclusive colorways, Orange Metallic and Grabber Blue Metallic, which are not available for the “non-GT” Mach-E.
In terms of charging, the electric Mustang is capable of withstanding electron loads up to 150 kW, the car can, under optimal conditions of use, recover up to 93 km of autonomy in 10 minutes, or go from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes. On an 11 kW wallbox installed at home, a full charge takes 7 to 10 hours.
