Amazon.com, Inc. is a US e-commerce company, headquartered in Seattle, Washington; is the largest Internet company in the world.

It was among the first large companies to sell goods on the Internet and one of the companies that symbolized the dot-com bubble concerning the Internet in the late 1990s. In the “bonus” position of the most visited websites we find Tabao.com, the Chinese e-shopping portal. A marketplace capable of turning heads, within which they are located hundreds of millions of products, ranging from clothing to electronics, passing through “do it yourself”. This site occupies the fifth position in the ranking of most visited websites in China. A real giant of online sales.

Basically, Qq.com is the Google Chinese. This site, in fact, groups within it an infinite series of online possibilities. Search engine, voice chat, gaming and much more under one big name. Currently, this site also offers music streaming and email services. In China it is used for practically everything and is currently the second most visited site in the country.

In this position we find Yahoo.com. Explaining what it is or what services it offers is not easy, but I will try anyway, leaving out the less important details. Arguably, this website is one of the largest providers currently accessible on the net, with a free mail service, a search engine and so on. One of its famous peculiarities is the function Yahoo Answers, that is a portal where each registered user can ask a question to the community, choosing the topic and setting other parameters. Any other registered user can give an answer and – again thanks to a voting system (scoring this time) – you can decide the best answer. The questions asked previously are however also made available to non-registered users and this means that many doubts can be dissolved without too much effort.

It occupies position 5 of the most visited websites in the world: Wikipedia.org

I believe the fifth most visited website in the world doesn’t need many introductions. The largest free online encyclopedia ever created, boasting over 45 million voices and 280 different languages! The power of this mammoth intellectual product certainly lies in its accessibility: each user can add, modify or merge information. Furthermore, there is the possibility to translate certain voices to different languages. Basically, we are faced with a volcano of information of all kinds, totally free and within the reach of anyone with an internet connection. Plus, you can create a page on your own, which is always an added bonus (maybe).

It occupies position 4 of the most visited websites in the world: Baidu.com

There’s no point hiding behind the evidence: Baidu.com is the Chinese copy of Google, with a search engine, music, video games and email. However, this website was the first in its country of origin to offer a search engine even on smartphones with a WAP navigation system. While attesting to the fourth place in the world ranking, baidu.com is the undisputed leader in its homeland and is in fact at the top of the ranking of the most visited websites in China. Within this internet monster there are 137,783 reachable sites: in a nutshell, there is everything you need for a good navigation.

It occupies position 3 of the most visited websites in the world: Facebook

We arrived on the podium and at the lowest step we find one of the most visited social networks in recent years: Facebook. I don’t think we need presentations or explanations for this website, which alone has managed to change the concept of “virtual friendship”, allowing billions of users around the world to find old friends, relatives on the other side of the world or simply make new friends while sitting comfortably behind a screen. A little creepy as a big picture, but I think I get the idea.

It occupies position 2 of the most visited websites in the world: YouTube

In second place, another social network. Of course you all know what we are talking about, there are more open channels than connected people. We also have one, where we bring our writings in the form of videos. If you want you can take a look at our YouTube channel! A platform that is sometimes fantastic and sometimes indecent, YouTube is able to introduce talent, make famous or entertain, but it is also a great way to learn the basics of any topic through video tutorials. Easy, intuitive and above all free, this portal stands as the second most visited website in the world!

It occupies position 1 of the most visited websites in the world: Google.com

The 10 most visited websites in the world | Ranking March 2021

The undisputed king of the most visited websites is, almost for granted, Google.com. Originally born as a simple search engine, Google it quickly became the home page of almost every PC, smartphone, tablet o device able to connect to an internet network. This is thanks to its many services, among which we find the most used email ever (Gmail), which boasts over 425 million users. Without forgetting, then, that the same YouTube it is owned by the great G. Obviously, the services offered by this colossus are not all here, but I do not intend to prolong the discussion here, as I think it would go too far out of context.

The ranking in short
