Through a press release, Techland has announced a new dark-fantasy DLC dedicated to Dying Light entitled Hellraid: let’s find out all the details and the various additions together
We candidly admit that one of the titles that we most await for the coming months is Dying Light 2. Despite the postponement announced recently by the Techland guys, towards a new date scheduled for today of February 4, 2022, everything that has been shown on the title it is very compelling and interesting. The fact that the team is working on the sequel, however, has definitely not removed support for the first chapter, released in 2015. In the past few hours, in fact, via a press release Techland has announced a new DLC dedicated to the first chapter of Dying Light. Hellraid, this is the title of the new paid content, has a dark-fantasy setting and adds different types of content.
Primarily, Hellraid added a whole new map area in The Mysterious Portal, which will allow you to embark on a new challenging challenge that has, as a reward, a new weapon and a new ability: magic. However, you will have to complete the mission in a single game, as if you lose all your lives the mission will restart from the beginning. Once completed, you will get the Fire Wand, a magical weapon that will allow you to launch fireballs and set enemies on fire, and the Wand Mastery ability.
Dying Light expands with a new “magical” update: Hellraid arrives
Hellraid also adds three new potions: Potion of Endurance, which reduces damage from enemies, Potion of Power, which increases melee damage by 100%, and Potion of Speed, which doubles movement speed. Finally, the update adds a new location, l’Armory, available only to those who manage to complete the secondary mission Imprisonment. In this area you will have the opportunity to see Crane’s weapons that you can unlock during the adventure, climbing the ranks of Hellraid. Also available a new patch for Be The Zombie mode, all full notes can be found on the official Steam page.
The Dying Light Hellraid DLC describes an entirely new game mode for the Techland title, based on a currently suspended fantasy slasher of the same name from the company. Obviously, the content is available on any platform where Dying Light is already present.
