The plot
The best. Marco Pantani: the documentary promises to be a cinematic story of moments that go beyond the cycling and purely sporting dimension. The objective is the delicate sharing of more intimate and tender circumstances.
Private and loving moments spent by the great Marco in the simple family context that will give us the “human warmth” of a boy who pursues his dreams.
Director Paolo Santolini’s point of view is interesting for his emotional understanding of Pantani’s context.
In fact, he too was born and raised in Romagna. In this work he decided to highlight the human and empathic side of the great sportsman from Cesenatico. He chose to tell it thanks to published and unpublished material also made up of conversations that date back to the beginning of his career. We will listen to the coach’s talk of his beginnings, stories and tales of his closest and dearest friends and relatives. We will gently retrace many engaging passages that will connect us with obstacles, victories and the life of a great sportsman.
Conclusions
The voices, memories and experiences told by many of the people who loved, supported and accompanied him during his sporting ascent, are the elements that really give body and soul to this documentary.
For the great supporters of the sector this work represents a level artistic experience. An important moment to deepen the great sporting path of this myth, with many profound moments.
